The 44.5 Foundation’s mission is…

to inspire and enhance families in need through education, technology, and community outreach, globally.

Our Founders

Conroy Campbell
Co-Founder

As an avid information technologist and youth soccer coach, I strive to challenge my audience to develop and strengthen their abilities and skills that are embedded within their purpose DNA. Two years ago, I found myself at the lowest point of my life – professionally and personally. After much soul searching, I resolved to chart a new course for my life. Today, I have been working diligently to build a company and foundation where both technology and social development intersect. I am very proud and happy to announce the creation of the 44.5 Foundation.

Che Siewe Achuo
Co-Founder

The 44.5 Foundation has over the last year become a steady contributor to the welfare of the citizens of Douala 4 district in Cameroon, W. Africa. As manager of this initiative, I have been privileged to see firsthand the glow of relief on the faces of our recipients. Food is a lifeline here. Quality education even more fleeting. Household incomes in Cameroon are very low. Bringing hope to so many has transformed me.  Our monthly food drives to the local community and the support we have brought to a local school with refugee kids has renewed my faith in humankind. I am now choosing to focus the rest of my days on giving back-of my time and of the resources so graciously afforded to me. I hope you join me..

The 44.5 Foundation, based in Atlanta, GA, strategically and intentionally partners with local and global communities to help families to become empowered in their everyday lives. What sets The 44.5 Foundation apart from most other organizations are our 3 pillars of purpose.

  • Education
  • Technology
  • Community Outreach

Our vision is to impact 10,000 families over the next 10 years. We are confident that we will be able to achieve this with our current community partners and with those with who we will partner in the future.

My team and I have secured 3 local community partnerships (in Metro Atlanta) and 1 international partnership (in Cameroon, Africa) over the past 3 months. Through our Cameroon chapter, we have distributed school supplies to over 500 underserved school students – whose families have been displaced by war and other political factors. We also have been able to donate school textbooks to all students within the same school. It took time for us to gain the trust of school faculty. They are used to people making promises that they do not deliver on. Because of our recent donations, we have gained the trust of the school faculty and of those in the local community.

Within the community of Babenga, Cameroon we are planning to start construction of a borehole water well. This will provide water to about 5,000 families who do not have any access to clean water.
