The 44.5 Foundation Cameroon chapter once again honored it’s commitment to it’s recipients in the City of Douala by organizing a school supplies donation drive for needy children in Bonaberi neighborhood.  The event was held on Sunday 11th of September 2022 at the Hausa Chiefs Palace compound in Bonaberi. Parents and children from all Douala 4 subdivision showed up at the event.  We donated notebooks, pens and pencils to 100 parents and kids. Each parent or child was given 4 notebooks, a pencil and 2 ballpoint pens.

The parents expressed gratitude to the Founders of the foundation for the generous gift of school supplies. Many children were very happy because they’d be starting the new school year with brand-new notebooks and pens. The Imam of the local mosque praised our commitment to supporting these children from poor families before the closing prayer.
