The 44.5 Foundation food drive for the month of august 2022 was held in the compound of the the Hausa Chief Palace in Bonaberi Douala. The event started with an opening prayer by community leader Mrs Zulay Oumarou. Then Mrs Adama took attendance making sure that senior citizens got cratered to first. 44.5 foundation was able to distribute 5kg bags of rice, 2 litres of cooking oil and 1kg of pasta to 90 families. Our oldest mothers yet again were profoundly grateful for the foundation’s unrelenting efforts toward the community in terms of food assistance. They offered special prayers for our benefactors in the USA.
At the end of the distribution exercise, there were lots of conversations regarding back to school in two weeks. Many single mothers remembered the huge help from 44.5 Foundation last year with the book drive. The 44.5 Foundation leadership thanked all that came on time to the event and said we would communicate future about upcoming drives.
