Our Partnerships

The 44.5 Foundation strategically partners with local communities and organizations to further impact youth and their families. We truly believe that it does take a village to not only raise a child, but it takes a village to make a change one community at a time.

Elridge L. Miller Elementary

Founded: April 1981

Location: 919 Martin Road, Stone Mountain, GA 30088

Grades: Pre-K through 5th

Principal: Mark Bryant

Student Enrollment: 450

Mission Statement: At Eldridge L. Miller Elementary  School we inspire and equip a diverse community of unique individuals in a safe and healthy learning environment.

We have partnered with Eldridge L. Miller Elementary (E. L. Miller) to serve not only its students and faculty but also to serve the local community in which it resides.

E. L. Miller is a public, suburban school located in Stone Mountain, DeKalb County, Georgia.  The school was officially opened in April, 1981.  There have been many changes in Miller in the past 40 years.  During the early years, enrollment exceeded 1200 students.  Since 1992, however, the number of students dropped to approximately 650 and has remained there.

E. L. Miller has the distinction of being a neighborhood school, which serves the children who live in the surrounding community.

As part of our partnership, the 44.5 Foundation has committed to:

  • Assisting with providing the necessary school supplies that a student needs to be successful in their day to day academics.
  • Providing learning sessions to all families who are not “tech” savvy or would like to learn new skills to navigate through the new normal of virtual learning.
  • Provide upskilling programs to parents and citizens in the local community.
  • Assist with raising funds to help with any resources the teachers may need to be successful with their day to day activities.
